The Howard Center is always a nice place to go. The staff are always friendly but yet professional. They show they care. And you're not just a person to get money from. The nurse practioner is someone you can talk with and seems to understand your situation.

!! Best mammogram experience ever!!! No squishing or stretching of your breasts, no cleopatra poses, and no chilly plates. Having a mammogram here is like having a spa day with breast imaging included. The ladies in this department have outdone themselves to make you feel glamorous in their care, treatment, and the atmosphere of the waiting area.

This was my first visit but I was very impressed and will definitely use this center for the future services

The experience at the office was wonderful and everyone was very accommodating. I received an email 2 hours after my visit but did not see it until the wee hours of the morning. The email did not specify what I needed to come back in for on Monday, April 8. I have cried all weekend thinking I may have breast cancer.

I absolutely love these women. My appointment yesterday I went into very nervous just because who wants someone looking down there you know? But immediately both of my Nurses that were seeing me were so sweet and funny. Them being funny made me feel so much more comfortable and I am so thankful for that. It is very hard to find nice, understanding nurses so I am very pleased that I am able to go to this place!

My first time getting my mammogram done at the Howard Center was truly amazing.I felt like I was a queen when I walked into the mammogram room.Everything was so nice and clean and inviting,There were snacks and coffee or hot chocolate you could enjoy.There were nice comfortable robes to put on and you had a nice warm fire place to sit in front if until they called your name.I forgot the name of the young lady that took care of me but she was absolutely amazing.She talked me all the way through my breast exam and it was comfortable and painless.They also gave me a shirt before I left.I suggest that every female go and have the Howard experience one time for your mammogram.Thanks for making me feel like I matter!

I had great visit today. The entire staff was friendly and knowledgeable especially Kayla NP. She was very professional and made me feel at ease during my exam.

It was ok, I missed my appointment a week before and got in the next week. I just wish I could see a Doctor instead of a nurse practitioner.

My visit today with Kala was awesome. And although I was talking a lot, she did not rush me even though she had other patients. She listened. I take the 1 hr 20min drive yearly because Howard Center is very caring

Wait time was minimal , staff was excellent and informative and the time it took for my prescription to be sent was amazing

The gaudiness of the waiting room for imaging was not well received. Completely impersonal experience - the robes were cheap and ill fitting and I was under the impression that the new “no squeeze” mammogram machine would be comfortable, however climbing up onto the machine was not and neither was the placement of my breasts into a hole that they dangled into for imaging. You feel more like a number than a person at the Howard Center. The group who came to our school was pushy and abrupt in their interactions and mostly forced me into scheduling the mammogram. Upon arrival, the waiting room had a really tasteless, tacky television show on - at one point the show in the waiting room had women smelling shirtless men to see if they were attracted to their hormones released through their sweat - it was just gross. There were children in the waiting room and I really didn’t think it was appropriate for them but the staff behind the counter was oblivious to what was going on - they were engulfed in their own conversations. The one plus was Hannah - I think that was her name. She escorted me through the center to the imaging section upstairs. She was kind and considerate and a bright light for the entire facility. The tech administrating images is the opposite. The hooks I hung my clothes on were broken. As I described the mammogram itself was awkward and afterwards I found my way out on my own. Completely uncomfortable experience for me - I wish I could say more positive things. For such a large and thriving place, one piece of advice would be to actually care for your patients. Showing some genuine care and concern these days goes a long, long way.

I have not had a mammogram in the past 5 years simply because I did not want to go to the hospital to have it done and then have to be called back in for more pictures and who wants their boob smashed! Thanks for having such a fancy machine so woman do not have to go through that smashing!

Everyone who handled my care during this past visit was very kind and attentive to me. Mrs. Bonnie's assistant did my Pap, and explained what she was doing during the entire process. The ultrasound tech was willing to answer my questions and made the experience tolerable. My only request is that the patient rooms where exams are done be heated. The room where my vaginal ultrasound was done was warm and then the room where I had to get completely naked for the Pap and breast exam was freezing. It must have been 65 degrees; I felt as if I had stepped into a freezer. Waiting for a while, while being naked, and then having to have something like that done in a very cold room is not pleasant. I enjoyed Mrs. Bonnie and the ladies that handled my care, but please be mindful of temperature and the services being done.

Mrs. Simpson is a great asset to the Howard Center. She takes her time listening to your concerns and will follow up to make sure the patient is taken care to resolve the problem.

Shelby was fantastic during my visit. She was kind, patient, and listened to any concern I had. I had my IUD removed and got a little dizzy because of it, and she made sure to get me juice and ensure I was going to be okay. I didn't feel rushed one bit. The woman who did the intake, the ultrasound tech, and the front desk receptionist were all exceptional as well. I would recommend this office to everyone!

Ms. Bonnie and her team are exceptionally wonderful with my care at EVERY appointment! Everyone is so kind and knowledgeable of their roles and positions. Getting an appointment is always easy and quick! On many occasions, Ms. Bonnie has answered questions that I had even after my appointment by quickly responding to messages or returning my phone calls!

Mrs Colson was very thorough with me.. She listened to all my concerns and made me feel comfortable. The office is well organized and friendly.

Nicole is also friendly and professional whether she is helping to get you to pull you back or help with weight loss. The lab corp person is always accurate and very professional. The front desk staff is always friendly and efficient when getting you signed in.

Mandy is amazing. I haven’t been in for 3 years, but she remembered my history and got me in the same day. Issue ended up being gastric elated but had problems offering to order ct-scan. I was in and out even as a work in. All the staff was friendly, caring, and on their game. I have been a patient for over 26 years and wouldn’t be anywhere else. I enjoy coming to the Howard Center. However my appointment was at 10:30 and I did not leave until 1:15. Somewhere along the process I got lost in the shuffle and if I would not have gone back to the front desk to reschedule I probably would’ve been sitting longer and it really inconvenienced me to where I was late for work. Great staff and atmosphere though!

I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the service that I received from the front desk. They were really patient whenever I asked questions about my insurance and scheduling. The women who worked me up were really great as well. I would’ve preferred to know that they would be training someone during my exam because it was my first annual so I was feeling anxious and there were moments that it was uncomfortable. I was indirectly informed about a condition that hadn’t been brought up to me from previous visits so from the start, I felt like I was in the dark. I saw Tomberlin as my NP for the first time. The breast exam felt really rushed and barely done. Most questions that I asked, I did not get answered and at one point, I asked a question and was met with slight judgment. I would not feel as comfortable coming back for another annual.

Everyone from the front desk, to the nurses and techs and doctor were polite and professional. For example, the front desk clerk helped me with an insurance issue that I was having. She waited patiently while I got the correct information for her. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming. They offered snacks, coffee and other refreshments to you, with made me feel right at home. Lastly, the office is beautifully decorated. They thought of everything!!!

Wow! The new mammogram equipment is the cat’s “Meow”! I felt like a Hollywood star at a spa instead of at the hospital getting the dreaded annual check up! If you can climb on a table and place your breast in the opening, your mammogram can be completed in less than seven minutes with no painful squeezing!

The staff is amazing, the facility is beautiful, the new touch less system is so easy and comfortable.

The staff at the Howard Center are always great!!!! Went in for a mammogram and my experience was great, from the gorgeous waiting room to the actual mammogram. I was asked if I'd be willing to use the new mammogram machine. It was a breeze and the tech explained everything thoroughly and made me feel comfortable. I also did the regular mammogram, the tech did the test quickly and was super nice.
